Kunstenaar Johan Kleinjan beschilderde deze lange smalle tafel met dieren in zijn kenmerkende en humoristische stijl.

Sander Buijk studied graphic art and illustration at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. He likes to travel worldwide, particular south america. Until now, these shaped his style and career. As illustration seen as the biggest part next to that likes to work 3d sculptures. Among his clients are numerous magazines and publishers worldwide and several marketing agencies.
Looking at the images and illustration of Sander Buijk one notices a strong connection between illustration and art , between marketing and idealism. A bit of integrity and brutality at one hand and a spontaneity/rough side at the other. The most important thing to get in an image is spontaneity and power of visual communication.
"Wat mij interesseerd in het tot stand komen van beeld is het zoeken naar een grens. Beeld welke aan de ene kant visueel goed communicerend is en aan een andere kant mijn eigenheid, die spontaniteit en ruwheid behoudt. Beeld wat niet te verhalend is, waardoor de kijker geprikkeld wordt tot interpreteren".
Tot in ieder geval 7 november.

Searching for the other truth.
Lenny Oosterwijk (1969) makes portraits of musician, artist, actors, politicians and writers, commissioned by Rails, Uitagenda Rotterdam, Vrij Nederland, BLVD MAN and City Media. He is searching for the other truth behind the mask; the portraits are often intimate, confronting, raw and on point. Oosterwijk has been an art director for Magazine Rails for 3 years. In 2009 he made the overview exhibition of the work of Otto Snoek in Photo Museum Rotterdam. Currently he is among other things art director with City Media and Uitagenda Rotterdam. As a photographer he traveled the globe. Since 2010 he makes pictures of "nature in making" on the island Tiengemeten, in this personal project Oosterwijk follows the seasons and is searching for the surreal landscape.
